i've watched a lot of docs/shows about people who live with strange animals, and big cats are teh most popular

I remember seeing a story several years ago about a guy that had a pet mountain lion. Someone broke into his place and was mauled by a cougar. Not sure if their Crystal Gayle shirt was ruined or if they learned anything about driving

there was a story a while back about a guy living in an apartment in NYC with 1 (maybe 2) big cats
