Mon-Tues Scrimmage Leaders

Mark Laird went 4-for-6 with a double

Alex Bregman went 3-for-7 with a home run and double

Danny Zardon went 3-for-5 with two home runs

Hunter Devall pitched three scoreless innings while striking out three

Jared Poche pitched two scoreless innings

Hunter Newman pitched one scoreless inning with a strikeout

Freshman right-hander Jake Godfrey pitched two scoreless innings

Scivicque had a terrible day 1 behind the plate and hitting. Not sure about yesterday. Strall wasn't consistent pitching; neither was Lange. Ibarra needs coaching to coach first. Deichman is striking out too much. Fraley might be hurt still; his wrist was wrapped up. Not sure if it was the same one from last year.

I'm going again today and will have another update going. To be fair, the OP contains a release from LSU. Not surprised to see only positive stuff.

I've started to form a few opinions here and there about guys and the team, but I've decided to save that for the countdown thread when I do player profiles and team outlook.
