He knowingly, and deceitfully, put a lot of people at risk.

Yes it was and there will be others that try the same thing.

I wouldn't say evil. Definitely selfish, but not evil.

I'd do the same thing if I was in Liberia. Except I'd go straight to the hospital and tell them I have ebola.

You used the word I!

I don't think I've ever seen you do that.

Where are you getting this info?

There have been zero confirmed cases out of 1000s of false alarms.

Don't come to this board very often, do you?

Where did you see 18 infections? Not that this hasn't happened, but I don't believe anyone has reported any other cases of Ebola yet.

That implies malicious intent. He merely wanted to live and put his own survival above those around him to do so.

It was selfish, not evil.

Dude - he got on an airplane when he knew he likely had ebola. The only reason he got on the airplane was because he though he had it.

Putting hundreds of people's lives at risk to save yourself is simply selfish? No, it's evil IMHO.

Of course it was evil. He even knowingly put family members at risk.

Probably not the worst thing in the world. Had he survived, it would have increased the belief that we can cure the disease. Incentivizing others to try the same.
