I have an entire slim-Jim set.

Now I need someone to walk me through how to break in a 2005 Tacoma without ripping out all the wires in the door which I've witnessed before?

Thanks in advance

A brick to the window is efficient and cheap. Make sure you don't break a small window; they're more expensive.

A jimmy shouldn't rip out the wires if you do it correctly.

Right. He's asking how to do it correctly.

I thought you were packing up and just heading out into the world with no directions or goals.

What happened to that?

All you need is the little pump up bag thing they use and a skinny rod that you can bend

Oh and a wedge

Use a wedge on a door. That is how AAA will do it.

Not as cheap, but a spark plug makes a bit less of a mess to clean up.

Always pop hood before exiting vehicle. That way you can remove your spark plug and save money. Win/win

The time I busted out someone's window I tried taping up most of it and giving me a sweet spot to hit. It made the clean up a bit easier.

I had someone use an ATV to bust out my back window. The truck was unlocked, but I appreciated the gesture

That's not exactly what I said, but thanks for being a dick.... And yes after I get a few things settled and others put to the side for the time being, I am "finishing" packing my shite and headed off without any destination or "exact: time ill be gone...

has nothing to do with this, but thanks again for showing you are a fricking prick

Ok I got all that and tried all that.. no go...

story of the failure: They are doing construction on my block and one of the constables are doing traffic, well I got one of the guys to get his kit and we used the ones they use to go through the top of the door and press the unlock button on the outside while pulling the handle, but that trick didn't help (I think my truck has something that senses if someone is in it or not. So that failed.

Both my 99 and 04 Tacomas had a guard under the door that blocked you from slim-jimming it. Had to go through the window to unlock
