Love it. Very safe, reliable, comfortable, etc.

99% of truck owners love their truck
Tundra or not
Cons: gas mileage, ugly

My brother has one. Don't get me wrong, it's nice. I just figured he would get more for what he paid for it.

I have a 2006 with 100k miles and have had no issues. It's reliable and can do everything I need it to.
Solid truck that will last a long time.

I had a Ford FX4 F150 and I thought it was just ok until I got to around 110k miles. After that it was quickly downhill.
I bought a 2013 Tundra in December of 2012. I'm at 82k miles and everything is still like new.
When it's time to buy again I'll probably get a 1yr old low mileage Tundra.
The ride is so much smoother and the interior is way more spacious and intuitive.
Hope this helps.

I have a 2011 Tundra with 4.6L V8. It makes decent fuel mileage (~17 mixed, 20 Hwy), rides and drives nice, and the best thing about it: it has a great turning radius.
I am experiencing the all-too-common torque converter shudder, though. It started at about 100,000 miles. I have 121,000 now. I guess I need to get it checked out.

Tundra>Ram>Ford

I had 3 F150's prior to my current Tundra. I was one of those guys that liked to trade in his truck every 3 years or so for the new model (I know, not a good financial decision but damn it...I wanted a new truck). Having said that, I have had my current Tundra (only truck I have owned besides a F150) since 2008. Obviously it is paid off and I have no plans to get rid of it anytime soon.
No issues. Great power (pulled many boats and trailers). More interior room than any other truck I have been in. BUT, it does have a rough ride compared to some of the other models out there.
My next truck will be another Tundra.

Trucks are like a pussy, they should be able to take a rough ride.

Had a first generation Tundra I purchased new in 2001. Sold it in 2011 with 200+K miles on it. Somebody still gave me $6,000 for it. Original engine, transmission and outside of replacing tires, brakes, oil changes and oxygen sensors it never failed me once. Needed additional cabin room as we were expecting another child otherwise I'd still be driving it.

Bad fuel mileage is a myth. For a 6500 lb truck that has a 5.7 it gets good mileage
ETA: and a 430 rear end

Toyota and Ford should be your only options.

That's not insignificant, even though I never considered it. My parents have a sequoia and the turning radius is unbelievable. It really makes a difference with larger vehicles.
