This week we got new releases from Weezer, Flying Lotus, Iceage, and Caribou. Am I missing any other big ones?

So far I have only listened to Iceage, and I like it. Although hardcore punk is my jam, their new record is decidedly post-punk, which is not a bad thing. Although it disn't initially grab me the way New Brigade, and You're Nothing did, I am quickly coming around to the new sound from these guys.

Next up I'll be checking out Caribou.

I like it too, it's pretty different from Swim but it's great background music. Not saying that in a negative way, it's just more low key.

The new Kasabian was finally released in the US. Hopefully they tour the Southeast in 2015

Caribou is the best album of the year.

The live show is one of the best ive ever seen if not the best. Spanish Moon 2010

Add SBTRKT and squarepusher to your list. Aphex Twin's nee album is his best work IMO

I personally didnt care for the flying lotus stuff but I still havent finished listening to it.

Enjoying the Gary Clark Jr live album right now.

Is it really? The last Weezer album I even remotely enjoyed was Maladroit.

This one is really good stuff.

Most see it as a return to form after some pretty terrible offerings.

Back to the earlier sound.

Brought in producer of first 2 albums.

After Raditude I thought they were done, good to see them back.

Been listening to this a lot the past couple of days... It's a really easy guitar/pop listen.. and definitely the most straight forward music Mary Timony has ever done...
