Good for her. She owns her body, not the state.

I was just about to post this. Really sad, but maybe her cause will be heard by more people now and create change.
IMO, this is something every state should allow.

Wait, are you one of those that doesn't think that people should be able to euthanize themselves?

In fact he is saying the opposite. If your life is bad, move to Oregon and euthanize yourself.

Very sad. She's stronger than I would be in that given situation.

Amazing that anyone sees this any other way.

Wow, that is so sad and it takes a lot of balls to do that. I agree with your choice to do this to try to avoid the pain and suffering, and having your family seeing you helpless.

Small government conservative states would put her and the doctor in jail

There is a really good documentary "How to Die in Oregon" that is about this very subject. It's an excellent watch.
All the best to her and her family.

HBO or Frontline had a documentary on this topic a number of years ago. I certainly don't have the courage to do it. But, I'm glad Oregon allows it.

Good for her. More states should adopt this.

Kavorkian should have never served any prison time.

Everyone should watch this documentary. I can't believe people are actually against allowing people to choose this path.
