Montee Ball has looked pretty average for the most part this season and he was supposed the guy in that backfield. I know that having Peyton Manning at QB increases the value of any RB but anyone who's seen Hillman play in the past knows how mediocre he has looked as well...always struggling with fumbles and pass protection. Is Hillman really worth a waiver position ahead of guys like Branden Oliver (looked outstanding against the Jets #1 rated run D and could fill the void left by Woodhead and possibly even steal carries from Mathews upon his return and also surpass Donald Brown due to his poor play) and Andre Williams who's playing behind a surprisingly good Giants run blocking O-line? Does anyone think there's a good chance that C.J. Anderson or Juwan Thompson passes Hillman?

I have him 3rd behind Oliver and Williams. And I bet CJ Anderson or Juwan end up being more valuable.

Hillman has some bad matchups in the next few weeks: NYJ, SF and SD.

I'm a Broncos fan, watch every game. Hillman is worse than Ball when he gets the majority of the carries. He's only effective in small doses.

You like Juwan or CJ better? Who's better in pass pro?

I have him third as well. Anderson is averaging 5.0ypc but that stat comes from a small sample size. I just have a feeling this ends up being a RBBC situation.

Oliver is probably the best long term of the three. Williams might be the best of the next several weeks. Hillman is a flyer for owners who are desparate or who got fricked over by Ball. I'm not expecting much from Hillman. As was said I think that Broncos are probably going to be stuck in a major RBBC, and all of their values will be limited.

I feel Anderson is better than ball. I have watched every game and Ball is just slow to me. Hillman shows good burst but hasnt played that much this year. Cant hurt to pick him up though

I agree. I think at worst Oliver takes over Woodhead's old role which will likely have him as a legitimate flex play for the rest of the season. Based off the way he looked against the Jets I think he can push his way into a timeshare with Mathews or possibly even surpass Mathews if injuries continue to be a factor.

This. Anderson and Thompson are pretty even in pass pro, Hillman is too small to really pick up a blitz.
