i think part of it forces payton to be run first pass second vs pass first pass second and run third.

I can see that. Graham would be an even bigger monster in playaction now that he's had a coming to Jesus in his run blocking

And he did it when Graham was injured too against the Pats. Running right down their throat, too easy.

When it's humming graham helps the offense tremendously. When defenses are able to stop him we do look bad for large stretches. I agree in that I prefer when Brees isn't using graham as a security blanket so much... I just wish we had more outside weapons.
