For those of you who are not familiar with him, here's his highlight reel: Vernon Adams Jr. 2013 Highlights

Vernon Adams Jr. awards:

FCS National Performer of the Year (College Football Performance Awards)
Runner-up for the Walter Payton Award Given to Top Player in FCS
First Team All-America (College Sporting News “Fabulous 50”)
First Team All-America (College Sports Journal)
First Team All-America (Beyond Sports Network)
Second Team All-America (The Sports Network)
Second Team All-America (Associated Press)
Second Team All-America (College Sports Madness)
Finalist for Geico Play of the Year (game-winning TD versus Oregon State)
Big Sky Conference Offensive Player of the Year
First Team All-Big Sky Conference (unanimous, first-team vote on all 12 ballots)

2013 stats: 319-486 (65.6% completed) with 4994 passing yards, 55 TD's, and 15 INT's. He also ran 132 times for 605 yards and 4 TD's.

This guy is a really exciting player, no doubt about it. But is he just another bust? Do you think his skill set can translate to the NFL? He has been going at a steady pace this year, throwing for 2,157 yards with 24 TD's and 4 INT's, though he broke his foot in the last game and is expected to be out 3-6 weeks.

Don't know how his game will translate, but he put on the best QB performance in Husky Stadium that I have ever seen earlier this season. Throwing absolutely perfect passes 40 yards down the field multiple times.

These were 4 of his TD passes in the game that were not short throws at all.

He'll have a few good runs (I mean stints, not actual rush attempts) in the preseason, I'd put the odds at less than 25% he sees a meaningful snap in the NFL. Obvious comparison is Russell Wilson, but Wilson's intangibles are off the charts and it's impossible to truly gauge Adams intangibles while he plays in the FCS. Yes I know he put up insane numbers against Washington, but the odds are stacked against him.

No..... Wilson is in a system that asks his to do almost nothing.

If that's your take then Adams doesn't have a chance in hell of making an impact. I don't agree with your take.

The best game manager out there.

I love the guy, but he is not a dynamic QB

He reminds me of Johnny Manziel, in terms of big play ability. He's FCS's Johnny Manziel.
