One thing I will say, Au fans put ours to shame.

The treated us well, time after time welcomed us to au, gave us a ride to our vehicle and most importantly, they were up 41-7 and they didn't leave.

Our fan's were getting kicked out left and right for fighting one another.

They felt sorry for you.

We treat fans of inferior teams in the same manner.

That's because we have nothing to be happy about. Did they give you a hand job too as a parting gift?

Dude! I got the perfect idea! You should just join them and live happily ever after! A major complaint about LSU fans is that we whine and complain too much. You're contributing to that.

I said it in another thread, by and large their fanbase is alumni or family of alumni. They have minimal sidewalkers, and those that are you won't find many in Auburn on gameday.

They also have the benefit of a true in-state competitor, of whom is still slightly "better" than them so the fanbase feels the need to do their part to will their team to victory as well.

Yea, their team wasn't in the Top 5 or anything or just played in the NC game in their new coach's first year.

Totally the same situation.

Moron.

Is this like when baseball fans let the shitty team LSU just beat do a victory lap? Pity

You apparently didn't make many trips to Auburn 10-15 years ago.

I was impressed with how many fans were in the stands in the 4th quarter. Had the roles been reversed, you know Death Valley would have been half empty.

Really, a bunch of drunk coonasses, fighting their brothers in P&G? I would have never thought...

I take it you've never been around Auburn fans after they lose or after they win a tightly-contested game. Grade-A assholes and pathetically sore losers. Anyone can be nice to someone after taking their team out behind the woodshed and abusing them for 60 minutes.

I agree. I walked around campus and shook more hands than someone running for a political office. They are a very hospitable fanbase, and I highly recommend the trip to anyone who has yet to take in an away game in this series.

welcome to auburn is their new thing, their fans had a really bad wrap 8-10 years ago and there was a campaign to clean it up and be better.
