Does anyone have a recipe close to TJ Ribs' wings?

I finally tried them and they're awesome.
I'm not really concerned with getting the sauce right, I have the sauce.
But if anyone has a duplicate or close recipe for wings like those and would like to share, I'd be appreciative.
I thought they grilled them but there are no grill marks. So I guess they do them in the oven but what's with all the orange color? Paprika maybe?
Weird question, I know, but thanks for indulging me.

Microwave most likely.

I've heard they were baked/smoked to cook them, then fried briefly when an order is placed to heat up and crisp the skin.
I got nothing beyond that bit of hearsay.

I tried it by smoking the wings for 3 hours and then let the wings cool. Then fried the wings for 5 minutes. Then into wing sauce. They were very good.

I was going to suggest something similiar to fatboydave. I would think they are smoked for a brief period (maybe smoked in an oven since they dont have smokers outside).....then high temperature re-heat. Broiler or a flash fry before being served.

fatboydave is the only one close. They are def smoked then fried then tossed in sauce. CT is not very smart though certainly a smartass.
