Awesome day out on the water. Targeted reds and had my limit by 8:30 am. All caught sight fishing on a gold spoon. The KCKayaks are incredible by the way

I've had no luck with the spoons, it feels like I have a fish on when it hits the water. Any help would be gladly accepted since I'll be fishing north soon.

I never make any casts unless I see a fish.. I stand and look for a tail or a V and then I will cast a little over and in front of the fish. Then drag it right across it's nose.. Try to make it look like the spoon is scared of the fish

Didn't target them at all. Once I had my limit I caught a couple more reds and started tagging them

Too awesome! Where is good to fish for reds down here? Just moved from NC and have caught pups in the (NC) sounds occasionally but usually stick to the beach.
