I have too many remotes. I would like to replace all of them with a single remote.

Easy enough but I would like the remote to work in 2 separate rooms.

In one room I would like it to control a LG TV, Phillips blu ray player, Samsung sound bar, my directv box, and, if possible, a ps4.

In the other room I would like it to control a TV, cheap sound bar, and the directv box.

Is this possible?

Look for a universal remote that handles multiple activities.

I have a harmony one remote(non rf - but don't think they make the same version anymore) that I do this with. Titled the activities as living room and bedroom. Just hit the activity for whatever room you're in.

Your cell phone...

I use my cell phone for my living room tv, sound bar, the hotel I stay at for work and my bedroom tv...All in one remote...

No such thing. This is my pet peeve.

Universal remotes are the $8 things you buy at Walgreen's.

Programmable remotes OTOH are used to create macros and work with your avr and TVs and media players. Logitech harmony line is an example. You can buy rf if you need to use it through walls or infrared to just replace remotes in the same room.

Well, this is the remote I have Harmony One.

Logitech calls it a universal remote. Carry on with your pet peeve though.

You hate amazon. I'm not taking advice from you. I did settle on the harmony ultimate rf.
