So, explain to me when we were elite? I'm just playing your game right now. Do you think LSU was an elite program when Saban was here? Seriously? Do you think LSU was an elite program from 10' through 12'? Just curious where you seeing us "getting back" to elite.

We were elite from 2003-2007 imo. I think Saban built us into elite, and Miles held on for as long as he could. I do not think we get back to a consistently high level under Miles.

Saban had one season where we lost less than 3 games.....ONE. Imo, we were the most elite between 2005 and 2007. 2004 was not great. Also, 2011 was probably our best team, ever. Damn JJ.

I can't say I agree or disagree...but I do know that we have a LOT of young talent and once experienced....this team will be really, really good....if LSU can bring in a couple more classes to go with them.....next year will be much, much improved with experienced DT's and improved qb play (and no welter). Before this year is over, people will see what this team can and will be....but no one is going to believe that after last night...at least right now.
