i say three.

2 will get iffy. 3 keeps them out unless there are lots of 2-3 lots teams

i don't think there is anything that can happen where one SEC team will not get in. Anyone with eyes can see that it's utter carnage in the SEC whoever wins the SECC WEst will be a real team regardless of how many losses.

This site would explode if a one loss Big Ten champ got in over a 2 loss SEC champ

FSU doesn't need to worry about stuff like this because while other teams are playing ranked teams on the road, they're playing the likes of Wake Forest.

A 2-loss SEC team definitely gets in after tonight. No doubt in my mind.

NOBODY DENIES THIS!

If a SEC team didn't make the first year of the playoff, I would laugh my arse off. That won't happen though.

These things will work themselves out.

2-loss SEC champ, especially out of the West, is not getting left out.

I don't deny it after tonight. However, were does 1 loss Notre Dame fit in the picture.

Hierarchy:

Undefeated SEC champ
Winner of FSU/ND (undefeated)
Undefeated Big 12 champ
1-loss SEC champ
1-loss PAC champ
1-loss Big 12 champ
2-loss SEC champ
Loser of FSU/ND (1 loss)
1-loss Big 10 champ
Etc

Well, FSU can still add a solid win against Florida to boost the strength of schedule.
