Well, it will never win an Emmy, but if you're a baseball aficionado, it might be worth watching. Wonder what else the LOC doesn't know it has??

That's pretty cool.

Amazing how baseball still looks just as boring today.

Parents sure named their kids funny names in the 1890s.

That's awesome....would have been cool to watch a game in that time. No announcers, no jumbotron, no fan gimmicks, no prima donna players, just good pure baseball

Always hear how nobody had ever slid head first before Pete Rose, and lo and behold, they have a guy sliding head first into first base of all places.

Do you guys think they stormed the field too often in 1924?

I mean, those fans should act like they've been there before.

Thanks for the link. I was especially interested in seeing Walter Johnson's throwing motion. It's very similar to Don Drysdale. The side arm variation has been common with relievers but very rare among starting pitchers because of stress on the elbow.

I think its funny how all the fans storm the field after the win in their suits and ties, and their Sunday best

Also the form of the pitchers... no way any pitcher would get away with throwing like that today

Loved Harris hitting the homer and running around the bases

Those pitchers all have an unusual delivery by modern standards, and the baserunners look really awkward.
