I've never quit on my country there are other ways for me to serve. Gonna go back to school and become a physician assistant. Ill then receive my direct commission or work for the va.

At one point I was in IR, you can earn retirement through IR as well, you go on active duty with different units each year for a couple weeks, take classes by correspondence, even get active duty schools, I was offered an Apache Transition while in the IR. Good Luck - Congrats!

Thank you for your service brother. I remember my last day in the active duty Army as well. Serving my country is still the greatest accomplishment in my life. Best wishes to you and your future!
