If Jason Vargas hadn't transferred Smoke would have WON a CWS.

There was a bunch of talent on those teams the next two years. Vargas, hitting and pitching, would have been the best. And a first rounder after his jr year.

LSU should also count him on their MLB tally. I think. He's had a good career.

Yes. I said I blamed weed. Have you never been grammatically incorrect on TD?

Point remains: Vargas would have been a good player at LSU had he stayed all 3 years. Imo, he would have stood out on a team that had a good amount of talent.

LSU Baseball doesn't recognize players who don't finish from their school apparently. That's why he wasn't included on the list of Tigers in the postseason on Twitter

He played in 02. Transferred to a Cali juco, then Long Beach St.
