The rankings are terrible this year and I would expect us to still be out of the top ten with a win at auburn

No chance unless more than half the teams in the top 10 lose

Auburn will fall more spots than we climb IMO.

Should just focus on winning out. We win out and we'll be in the top 4 at the end of the year. Can't worry about ranking right now.

Doubt it. But I could legitimately see us break the top 10 again.

Probably not but I think Kansas state exposed how gimmicky of an offense they have. We may beat auburn but they will a few games this year.

You're right. We need geauxnavybeatbama to be completely focused if we're gonna have any chance on Saturday

Depends on other games and how good or bad Auburn and LSU look. It doesn't really matter though, still early and the polls do not really count for anything anymore.

There is no way we don't jump them. That doesn't mean we jump to their spot though

Why does it matter? LSU wins out, they should be in the playoff.

because if State wins out we do not even make the SEC Championship.

Theoretically, yes.

I won't argue that.

But it'll be hard for me to cheer against them.

LSU Would probably be in the top 10, they would jump The loser of Stanford/Notre Dame, Ole Miss (under the assumption they lose), the loser of Texas A&M/Missippi State, probably would pass Georgia (because a signature victory over auburn more respected than a vistory of Clemson), and Michigan State (they have three victories over non-power five conference schools and a loss to Oregon, LSU would easily jump them). There are a lot of top 25 matchups this weekend, if LSU wins (especially un the event of an unlikely blowout) they will be in the top 10.
