It's about time to replace my aging grill. Anyone have one model/brand they are really please with? TIA.

I splurged on a Weber Genesis. I really debated for a long time whether it was worth the cost.

However, after purchase, I couldn't be more pleased. Really a great grill. I'm likely even going to purchase one for my dad.

Can't go wrong with a Weber. I have the low end Spririt and it's been a great grill.

Given the time of year, you might be able to find a Weber display model for cheap at Lowe's/HD. I love my Summit, and if I cleaned it up real good, it would look brand new although it's 4 years old.

Weber Genesis

Good choice. I got one last year and was hesitant at first about paying that much for a grill since I've never had one last more than 3 or 4 years. Glad I did just make sure you get the one with the sear burner in it.

Hmmm... There's no clear-cut winner here, so let me put my two cents in and provide the tie-breaking vote. I think you should get a Weber...

I have a 10 year old Weber Summit that does the reverse sear like a champ. If I was me, I would get a Weber Genesis. I think it is a nice size grill and built like a tank. I would avoid the SS version, and get the powder coated one. Much easier to keep clean...

I would also get a Weber Genesis.

I have a Spirit (cheaper model than Genesis) that is three burner rather than the two most Spirits have. After many years of being in the weather, the back of the lid began rusting out. Finally, an excuse to upgrade to Genesis.

Started researching for my new Genesis when I saw that there was about a 25 year warranty on the shroud. Called Weber on a Sunday afternoon. An American gal answered and, without asking for photos or anything, sent me a new lid assembly. She asked if I needed anything else. I told her I lost a part for my kettle, and she threw that in too.

Damn. I guess it's going to be a while before I get me a Genesis.
