Is this Inspiron 3847 Desktop a good deal?

Just looking for a basic setup for internet browsing, basic gaming, and streaming movies

Would like to also add an SSD to this system

That's a good deal. Throw in a 128gb SSD for $50-60 and you're good to go.

It's actually a good base for a decent gaming computer. Upgrade the PSU ($40) and add a graphics card ($100-200), you'll have yourself a pretty nice gaming PC

Edit: What do you mean basic gaming?

Why not? They're cheap enough now that it's very well worth putting it in any computer.
