At the beginning of the season, many people were worried how Fournette would handle the pressure of lofty expectations. And thus far, he has been our best runningback.

But with all eyes on Harris, and the offensive line playing with a chip on its shoulder...Fournette is going to hit 200 yards rushing against Auburn.

I think Sunday morning, LSU will be 5-1 and the Fournette Heisman talks become legitimate .

Hope so. More often, it's Auburn's RBs that go nuts on us.

Yes, this thread happens every week. When he finally does "go nuts", whoever started the thread is going to think they are sooooo smart.

On a related note.....not saying it will happen....not saying it won't happen.....but what are you going to do/say if it so happens that Fournette's stat line vs. Auburn is 12 carries for 29 yards?? What will the reaction be?

If that is Fournette's stat line, then we've undoubtedly lost. I will probably piss and moan about the offensive line and question the abilities of Grimes.

As much as I love LF, all the talk will be about Brandon Harris come Sunday. Kids a winner, isn't scared of the spotlight, and a flat baller.

B Harris: 17-24, 265 yards, 3 TDs

LF: 17 carries, 94 yards, 1 TD

ETA: I like the "But with all eyes on Harris" point. I could see him finally showing out now that everyone is putting a different kid under the microscope.

Not sure what you mean. I am not a hater by any means. I would love nothing more than for Fournette to get 350 yards on Saturday...but these people predict this outrageous crap then criticize everyone when the unrealistic things don't happen.

Auburn will stack the box early and test Harris. Once Harris proves he can throw on them, the run game will open up nicely.

Idk about 200 yards, but at best I'll say 120 with him going off in the second half because of Harris' ability to throw.

run from the gun. keep it 3 and 4 wide all game except in special situations. keeps running lanes open and spreads out defense with the ability to throw every down as well. stretch them horizontally and vertically. be great to see harris burn down jordan hare in his debut on the road.
