With the home theater threads that pop up from time to time, I thought it would be fun to discuss subs.

I have an Epik Empire. Two 15 inch drivers in a sealed box with a 600 watt amp. Epik is no longer in business so if it breaks I'm screwed. This thing is great for movies!

Not my pic.

I have two of these.

Chad was selling leftover amps when he decided to call it quits. Wish I would have bought one, but pretty sure I can find a comparable one if it goes out. Only problem I foresee.

JTR's are very nice. I would buy a JTR or a Seaton Submersive if my Epiks ever give ut.

A friend has an orbit shifter in his theater. That thing can pressurize a room.

The WAF has kept me from getting a second one. I have to keep the one I have turned down as it is.

I want to go DIY next. Maybe dual opposed 18s in a sealed box. Or maybe a bill fitzmaurice tuba build.

Anyone got suggestions for a wireless sub? It's not an option to run wire to where I need it and I have been trying to find one for a while.

I know it won't be as good as some of the ones that have been posted

Look into something like this. LINK It can turn any sub into a "wireless" sub. You obviously still need a wire for power, just don't need to run a wire from your receiver. I think RocketFish has a similar product that may be cheaper as well.

ETA... There are some badass subs posted in here!

Thanks for the info, I may look into that. I Still need to find something decent to purchase that won't break the bank!
