A&M undergrad, Texas Tech law (why does a "tech" university have a law school, but anyway..)

Coincidentally, it started to go to shite after the Supreme Court ruled in Bates v. State Bar of Arizona that the bar associations' practice of banning advertising was a violation of the 1st Amendment.

Why does an Agricultural and Mechanical school have a law school and/or med school?
