The trade I've been hoping for (Demaryius Thomas for Big Ben)

I found a desperate partner who needs a QB and offered me Demaryius Thomas for Ben Roethlisberger and I almost pissed myself with excitement.
As of now, my other QB is Foles and WR is where I need the most help (Vincent Jackson, Eric Decker, Rueben Randle, Mike Wallace, Kendall Wright).
My entire strategy was to draft a high ceiling guy like Foles but back him with a dependable option, but now my season would rest on Foles.
Am I just over-thinking this obvious trade accept situation?

Are you really asking if you should accept a trade that would get you Demaryius freakin Thomas for Big Ben?

Kinda. I am more asking the thoughts of relying on Foles as a QB1 with no backup (the trade has already been accepted btw) at this time.
My RBs are stacked with L Bell, Gio, MCoy and J Bell, but I have a bad feeling Foles is about to die or something
Unless I roll with someone like Brees, Manning or Rogers I HATE not having a legit backup.

Legit concern. Obviously you accept the trade. Post some of the QB's who are available. Foles has a bye week 7. Find a QB who has a good matchup that week and pick him up. Good luck

This is who is available. Now, he has Bortles and Fitzpatrick, so he will have to release one of them.
Trade is pending commish approval (but trade partner is the commish) so it still shows me with Big Ben.

DT has been slow (don't think that will last much longer though), any chance he'd do a Foles + WR/RB for DT?
I'd also keep an eye on Orton. Watkins seems pleased, and all you really need is a few if DT starts going off.

Yeah, this was definitely a buy low trade. Plus it is after his bye week which I like.
I have Delanie Walker and Travis Kelce at TE as well, so I may e able to unload one of them to upgrade my backup QB position as well.
I like my RB's, but I have good RBs because I value them. That being said, I only have four and if I trade one, then something happens to one I could be screwed.
