First Trip To Auburn

I am making my first trip to Auburn this Saturday. I need some help on areas LSU fans will be tailgating and bars/restaurants to go to check out around campus. Any suggestions would be helpful

Ive been a ton, great tailgating, good times, wish I was going but I have to work.

I actually like traveling to Auburn. You're not gonna' find a thriving city with tons to do, but there are a couple of decent hang-outs & I've always gotten along with their fans. Stadium's nice too.

That place is custom made for football tailgating IMO.

Skybar is one of the better bars in the SEC in my opinion

I had a good time the last time I went there (even though we lost)...
there is not a lot in the area, but someone will usually start a thread laying it all out...
one thing that I found strange is that everyone goes to campus on Friday afternoon and ropes off their tailgating spot...so if you are a visitor coming in late that night or day of game, you are shite out of luck for tailgating...
you can usually find the local alumni chapter has some kind of gathering...just look them up and give them a call...

I've been once. Tailgated in a cotton field on campus. Assumed it was test plot for school. Showed up arond 9 for 2:30 game pulled in on the turnrow fired up the grill and had a blast.

I'm an LSU guy who goes to auburn.
Skybar and 17/16 are the best bars to go to. Tailgates will be just about everywhere. Most fun tailgates are by the student center and at the amphitheater. As far as good eats Moes original BBQ right downtown is great and the late night spot is right next door at Little Italy pizzeria.
