The attorney for an Ohio State University student who ran onto the Ohio Stadium field during a football game on Saturday night said yesterday that his client has lost his full-ride scholarship because of the incident.

Anthony J. Wunder, 21, hit the field in the second quarter of the game between the Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bearcats. He was quickly tackled by former OSU linebacker Anthony Schlegel, now an assistant coach for the Buckeyes.

Wunder, a Cincinnati resident, was hauled off the field by Schlegel and security staff members, and the resulting photo and video quickly went viral.

Good. That dude is a fricking idiot.

Is there a gif of the coach body slamming him?

Defendant: I plead not guilty to trespassing.

Prosecution: Your honor, I would like to call the first of my 100,000 witnesses.

Collins, however, said that Wunder remains enrolled at Ohio State. He is a fourth-year student in a five-year engineering program, Collins said.

Great decision to run on the field.

I didn't think it was that serious. Could they not slap him with some academic probation?

It's a strong deterrent to future students who might think about running on the field.

The Evans Scholarship has nothing to do with the school.

The guy is stupid for running on the field but the coach is a super douche that needs his arse kicked. What a tough guy he must be overpowering a college student who weighs a 150lbs.

Was this guy high or u see the influence then I could maybe see him losing a scholarship. But football players do way worse things like saying they ducked her right in the pussy in front of the student body while performing a solo demonstration of the fricking. Oh well

I'm of the opposite opinion. If you run onto a playing field, you should get your arse kicked by the athletes.

The coach isn't a athlete, he is a University employee. Leave it up to security that's their job.
