Well duh!!!!!
1. He's only averaging a little over 11 carries a game
2. The O-line hasn't exactly been opening up gaping holes
3. The scheme hasn't exactly been conducive to big yds being gained
4. LF, by his own admission, hasn't been overly patient in looking for holes

What is GGs problem?????

This is why fan expectations are unrealistic.

LF is a true freshman with 5 games under his belt.

5.8 ypc
14.95 yds per touch if you include his receptions
21.7 yds per return

127 all-purpose yds per game.

That's pretty good for a true freshman

This is ridiculous, especially from a team that wants to ram the ball down your throat. He's basically playing a half a game. Now that Hilliard has fumbled, we may finally put our best running back on the field first.

he needs clicks/ page views. with him, those come from him writing "controversial" type material/ headlines that spawn threads like these.

The statistics measuring the rigid, positive advancement of the oblong pigskin will likely increase with the insertion of the participant who has shown an efficiency in advancing such in an aerial fashion, thus decreasing the congestion of defenders approximate to the area where non-aerial advancement is most advantageous.

The aforementioned columnist likely knows the probability of such but publishes his unflattering observations with experiential knowledge that it will increase interest in his otherwise usual mediocre, literary feces.

You sure do post a lot of negative things about LSU.

How did you come up with your screen name, RTR? You look suspect.

Are you dense or just obtuse?

I'm asking why GG feels the need to slam the boy.

Now GTFO!

Imo kickoff return yardage shouldn't be tallied in "all purpose" yards. It's misleading. The other team can score 8-9 touchdowns and if the returner gets it out to the 20-25 yd line, it'd be like 140ish yards tallied without having done anything besides get out to the 20 which one would get anyways with a simple knee.

You know that you can't break a big return or score on a kick return if you take the touchback, right?

Thanks for the clarification Les.

There is nothing factually incorrect in the article. But, LF's production, so far, has been good, all factors considered. And, better yet, I see this offense seriously picking up steam with Harris getting more reps. Expect the running game to become more productive with Harris' arm and feet at work in the backfield. This is gonna be fun!
