Some friends and I(LSU students) are heading up to Auburn for the game! Any advice on the rant about Auburn like any tailgate we could go to or places to eat and etc...

Be careful. Auburn fans are the worst in the SEC.

The highest concentration of party/student tailgates will be in the amphitheater, but there will be lots of tailgates all around the stadium. The best bars are Skybar, 17-16, and Quixotes (in that order). As far as quintessential Auburn places, Toomer's for lemonade and I guess Momma G's, although they've become a franchise so I don't know that it fits that description anymore. If you're a BBQ fan, Mike and Ed's or Price's BBQ House are both really good and are both walking distance from campus.

Before you pick up a chick in Auburn, make sure you do a cock check first.

Yeah and definately stay away from the sorority girls, I heard they have to sleep with their cousin to get in.

The auburn rival got pretty heated in the 2000's. Every year it seemed like te game was decided on a defensive stop. Fans got pretty hyped and into it more than the regular year to year games.

But I'll say the Auburn fans are pretty loyal fans, pretty knowledgable. More so than their state counterparts that's for sure. Auburn always seemed to me like they actually got the classy upper middle class Alabama residence more so than the Bama trash.

UF takes the cake as the most classless fans, the rest of the SECEast is pretty legit. I really like USCe and UGA. Vandy of course is classy.

I've come across some nice folks, and also some jerks. I guess it's a crap shoot.

The last time I went, we went to a party in the trailer park near campus. It was wild.

I'd recommend doing that on Friday night, if you know someone there.

I went in 2006, 2008, and 2010 to Auburn and had a great time each game with no problems. Got there around 1-2PM each time and tail gate till 6:30 gametime

Seconded. 10X better than Tuscaloosa. Went in '08 '10 & '12, this is the first year I'm not going since I came to college and I'm a little upset. Skybar is where you're going to want to be. There's also some great little sandwich/pizza joint that delivers late night but i can't remember the name. I think we got the chicken strip/mozzarella/pizza sauce sub 2 nights in a row in 2012

Agreed! AU fans are not very hospitable! My trips to Auburn have not been pleasant due to utter rudeness and intimidation. Just say'n ... That said, Bayou Bengals pull the upset!
