Nolen charged with murder for beheading

Here's the latest.
So why isn't he also being charged with a hate crime?

So what?
The additional charge makes it a more serious crime and more likely that he gets the death penalty.
Oh yeah, that's right.
We wouldn't want to charge a non-white person with a hate crime for murdering a white person because they hate white people.

It's a state murder charge in one of the most conservative states in the union. The DA is a republican. And, of course, more charges can always be levied.

There's nothing faux about the outrage.
If Nolen beheaded a white woman because he was seeking revenge for being fired for making anti white statements in the workplace then he should be charged with a hate crime.
It's an open and shut case so if he's not also being charged with a hate crime then there has to be a reason.
Is it because he is black and he recently converted to Islam?
It sounds that way to me.
