There is a large difference between 720p and 1080p screens on phones. And in the case of the iPhone 6 the same 2012 screen on a 4 inch phone is now just stretched on a 4.7 inch. It's pretty terrible.
The 1080p to 1440p on phones now is where you don't see much of a difference.

Using resolution as the only measure of screen quality is intellectually dishonest and similar to using megapixels as the only measure of camera quality.

Any price point released yet? Supposedly only a few weeks away but so much secrecy still. I'm waiting on this phone or choosing the moto x depending on what they are going to charge fir it.

It's tricky because if it is indeed a 6 inch model it may be a bit more expensive than normal, just have to wait and see.

Yea that's my dilemma. If its going to be in the 600 range then I have many other options and I'm not sure I want a 5.9 inch phone. If its 350 then the price makes up for the uncertainty.

Even if its a 5.9" screen, I can't see it being more than $500. I'm just hoping the drop the 16gb models and go with 32/64/128. I'd grab a 128 in a heart beat

I would prefer a 16gb option with a microSD slot but seems they got rid of it on the 2014 moto x. So not likely.

If its that price range I would wait and buy it. With the specs reported it would be worth it. Would prefer if they released a 5.2 inch version though. But I understand how that would kill Moto sells.
