The league I'm in charges a 5 dollar fee to add and drop a player from waivers. shite seems ridiculous

I did know it was $5 before the league started but it was my first time playing and my team was pretty stacked anyways. Now, with guys on byes and wanting to switch defenses it seems like a hassle.

The buy in for the league was only $20!!!

I play in a baseball league that used to have transaction fees. It would add up quick over a full season, and it was a pain in the arse to collect. We did away with that this season.

Thats absurd unless you are in like a $500 entry fee league or something like that. What is the entry fee?

My league has a $300/team FAAB budget with real money.

Last year we had $900+ added to 1/2/3 payouts.

The $$$ league I'm in right now, we used to do $1.00 per transaction and at the end of the year it was something like $130 dollars. We'd just draw a name out of the hat to see who wins, but it became a pain so we dropped it a couple years ago.

$5 dollars per transaction is pretty insane though, man. I'd bolt.

Not even close. It makes people think before they make moves. Plus he agreed to it.

The guy a couple of weeks ago who said he was in a 1pt/return yards is the most absurd one I've seen

Makes you consider your add and drops a little more

Where do you think it goes? To the winners I'm sure. You think the commish is pocketing the money or something??

My leagues have been charging for adds/drops for years. Makes for a larger payout. Shocked this is such a foreign concept to most of you.

In the pot. Winner gets 75% of the pot

We do the same, the idea is to get a bigger pot.

I like it.

We do $5 per transaction. Transaction money get split between the winner and the points leader. It's usually around $1000 or so.
