I doubt it.

Seems like with Carter's emergence at the plate, that probably takes away an outfield acquisition.

Any moves this offseason would most likely be either left side of the infield or pitching

I would be for a free agent bat at 3B.

I don't think Moran will be ready until the start of the 2016 season.

That's kind of my thought.

I'll give Matty D one more year. If we could bring in a veteran SS, I think that would help immensely

I'm going to be furious if Matty D plays another game at 3B

Shore up the left side of the infield (I gave up on Dominguez), get a bullpen and I'll be happy. I think we have potential playmakers in the outfield.

What frustrates me the most with this manager hire is that IMO this team is really just a few pieces away from being a fringe playoff team. I don't know enough about Hinch to say he will be absolutely terrible, but from what I've read it's not a sexy hire at all.

I could be a delusional homer but I think that it's just a matter of time with the talent we have emerging that the Astros kind of come out of nowhere as a playoff team. For people that don't follow the team it will seam like an overnight thing.

It'll be an interesting offseason. I'm intrugued to see if they make a move for corner OF even with the late acquisition of Marisnick

Me too, but I don't think it will happen. From looking at who is available it looks to me like that's where we could add an impact bat. I don't see much at 3B that's exciting honestly. I think a vet utility guy who can play SS/2B/3B would be useful as well

Hopefully we make a couple adds in the pen again and this time they stay healthy

dominguez needs to go even if we are forced to play G. Pettit at 3b. dominguez is just about the worst starting player at any position in teh entire major leagues.

We're picking 2,5, and 32 and in the 2015 draft. Need to make all these count.

I'd like to sign Pablo Sandoval and send Dominguez on his way. I think we'd get outbid quickly on that though. I also think we need another OF. Marisnick isn't the answer and I don't want to give the job to Grossman again based on a good 2nd half only to have him hit .200 for the first several months.

In my mind Pablo Sandoval = Carlos Lee

No thanks

I would agree with that. I would like to see us get a vet at 3rd and SS. Would also like to see them make a move for some veteran bullpen arms. I think we have a lot of solid spots, just need to shore up the holes.

We really need another starter too.

Trop & Folty can fill those spots for part of the season, but they will get shut down before the season is up
