It is an absolute classic. They have another one with "far less attractive Rob Lowe," but it's not as purely awesome as the first one.

I did think this was funny, although I thought it was a bit of life imitating art given that Rob Lowe did in fact sleep with an underage girl on camera.

It's incredible that he has swept this under the rug so well. Roger Goodell needs his PR person.

It does help when it happens in 1988 when and there is no internet or social media to bring it up every time you are mentioned.
Fortunately for Goodell, a few weeks of NFL will create a story line people can grab a hold of.

Thank you, Debbie Downer, but he picked up a girl in a club you have to be 21 to get into. She claimed that she was of age. Was he supposed to ID every groupie he fricked?
Anyway, it hurt his career pretty significantly, as he was being groomed for decades of Tom Cruise-like super fame. Instead, he toddled around in relative obscurity until Wayne's World.

according to the law, yes you are
just ask the BR kid that picked up 2 15 year olds at a downtown bar (21 and up) and got arrested for molestation

Well if he does ask for her ID, is he suppose to be able to tell a real ID from a forged one? Cause if those girls got into a club for 21 year olds with their fake ID, I don't see how a regular Joe could tell the difference.

I know vacuous skanks like Kim Kardashian have warped your sense of reality, but Lowe was never going to release this for public consumption. Either way, I call it coercion by the girl. Between the two of them, only she knew that she was not qualified to have sex with Lowe, and she did it anyway. If anything, she should be jailed for facilitating sex with a minor.

the way the law works, not having knowledge of a girls age is not a defense.
even if the girl shows you a fake ID, uyou are still screwed.

i never said i agreed with it. its not my view of reality that is warped, its the laws view of reality that has the distortion.
luckily for Rob Lowe hes famous and has million dollar lawyer and this happened 20 years ago, otherwise hed be on the sex offender list

according to the law, youre supposed to just know i guess. they dont allow a defense of "i didnt know" or "she lied".

So, conniving teen girls can have fake IDs made, proposition men who check their IDs, presumably verifying that they are of age, have sex with them and the man is still screwed.
