We're 2-3 after the 5 easiest games we'll have all season. Nothing this team has done so far makes me believe that we'll go 8-8. Carolina will win the division with a 9-7 record and get stomped at home by probably SF again. I see us winning 4 or 5 more to get to 6-10/7-9

When the Saints are 2-4 with GB coming to town for SNF, the dome will be rocking.

We are missing that "It" factor this year...nothing to see that it will change, team is playing substandard offensively & on D. When we have to come from behind to edge out a really crappy Tampa Bay team at HOME, that is all you need to know. I will never pull for the Saints to lose, but winning a few more games against bottom feeders is only going to hurt our draft position this year. The sunshine pumpers really need to take off their B&G glasses.

I like the 7-9 plan:

Beat the panthers twice
Beat the Falcons and bucs once more
Beat the Lions

Bring Cheating Pete and his merry band of thugs to da dome.

Panthers and Falcons still would have to lose more games than us regardless of all the division wins. The Raiders were perfect in the division one year (2010) and didnt go to the playoffs. Its not the Sec East.

Why not a half game lead? What's the math for a tie?

The best way to remember it is think of tie games as a half of a win and a half of a loss. Ex: Panthers are 3.5-5.5.

The division lead is based on win percentage. So to calculate the Panther's win percentage you would have to do 3.5/9=0.38888888889

To put it simply, WE CAN NOT HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF WINS AS THE PANTHERS AT THE END OF THE SEASON. We wouldn't win the division if that were the case. Hence the Saints technically being in second prior to tonight's win over the Panthers.

Hope that clears up any confusion.

LOL. What do people think this team will do in the playoffs?

If we can win the Division and just the first playoff game, it will be enough for me for sure.

I would be ecstatic.
