Yep they've done it since Marty time.

Arrowhead is loudest stadium I've ever been in. Place gets going.

TS and the Dome aren't close, been in all 3 for big games.

I was coming here to say the same thing. ESPN parades this Cheifs and their war chant, and re-enactment of tribal "rituals" and it's perfectly fine. I don't get it, well I do actually, I guess I'm just frustrated at the selective narrative.

That is insulting. I cannot believe the Ch**fs did that. Still amazed they allow the Br***s to do their chant.

I don't agree with the redskins fiasco, but to compare chiefs to redskins makes one simple.

How? Because one name is perceived by white media to be more "racist" than the other? What about the whole "we're a culture, not a costume" argument? So it's ok for Cheifs fans to dress as stereotypical native American cheifs and do a tomahawk chop while chanting, because their name isn't as offensive?

ETA: for the record I hate the whole Redskins situation and what the media has made it. They shouldn't, nor will they, change it. It's just the cool thing to be an activist against at the moment. It's infuriating to be quite honest. Where was all this outrage 10, even 5 years ago? Did the name just all the sudden become ignorant and racist?

How so? Aren't white fans mocking a war chant offensive? If we're going to screw over the Redskins, why let any fan base hold on to any slightly fun or interesting traditions?

Did they get consensus support from all Native Americans to use that name?

I'm sure there are some who oppose it.

The white man is using the representation of proud Native American warriors to make money.

If that isn't wrong, I don't know what is.

Plus, other races are making a mockery of a Native American war chant.

I don't think anyone should ever be forced to change a name. But you are being obtuse if you don't realize Redskin is a racist term and Chief is not. So if you start something with a negative connotation, anything that follows could be considered offensive or rude. I agree with y'all it is ridiculous people are trying to make them change, and a lot of people are just acting outraged. But I can honestly see how some people may truly be offended. If you can't admit that you aren't being honest
