I will certainly support him when that time comes. I may have my opinions regarding him playing ahead of BH but, the reality is, I cannot recall the last time an LSU QB made it through a season completely healthy and AJ is the only real backup for at least the rest of this year and likely, the next also. Unless we get some other version of BH in this recruiting class, it's a fair bet that we will need AJ to win some games for us.

I don't know why people don't get why one can simultaneously believe that AJ needed to be pulled AND still support the kid as someone we may need down the line. Those are not mutually exclusive concepts.

I want whoever gives LSU the best chance to win. Right now, that would be Harris, but down the road, it could easily be Jennings. Regardless of who starts, I support them both and hope they continue to push each other to get better.

I honestly never see Jennings as being a choice OVER Harris, but, it is pretty much a solid bet that at some point, BH gets dinged. So, we do have to hope he gets better.

Hmm. Really? I mean, I guess that's so now that I think about it. I just know we also have had many seasons where the backup has had to be a starter for us. I guess the seasons start to blend together.

We are lucky to have two high character kids representing LSU.

I just can't stop thinking about Florida '04 when we started Jamarcus and he shite the bed and Marcus Randall came back in after getting benched to bring us back for the W.

The only way this statement is true is if Harris gets injured.

that was 10 years ago and literally has nothing to do with the current team. neither does jarrett lee or jordan jefferson.

Most likely. You have to be ready for anything, though, since you never know what will happen. Hopefully Harris can make it through the year injury-free, but I still want Jennings to learn from his mistakes and get better in case he's needed.

He's wrong. 2 years ago rivers had to come in for a few snaps when Mett got hurt. 3 years ago we played JJ and Lee.

If Harris tries to run over a SEC defender like he did that NMST defender Jennings better be ready to play. Harris needs to get down and live to see the next play.

Mett got his bell rung against Ole Miss. I'd still say he got through the season healthy.

Due to injury?

I've said all along that we will no doubt no AJ at some point this year. Les is crushing this kids confidence by playing him when BH should be in. AJ knows BH is better, why embarrass the kid? He closed against Arky & wisky just keep him in the bullpen until the time is right for him to win the game.

Some players do better starting, and some players do better coming off the bench.....similar to baseball. BH excels at starting and Jennings does well coming off the bench ...... both have their way of contributing and our Tigers will be just fine.
