Would you give up Jordy and Asiata for McCoy?

Team right now:

WR Jordy, Benjamin, Randle, Torrey, J. Brown, J. Gordon
RB Lacy, Asiata, Vereen, Hill, Starks
TE Niles Paul

His team:

WR Jeffery, Harvin, Cooks, Evans, Hawkins
RB McCoy, J. Bell, MJD, Moreno
TE Julius, Allen

Should I be trying to get a WR in addition to McCoy or is that asking too much?

Jordy is the anchor of your team and Asiata is productive. You're weaker at WR than RB. Wouldn't do it.

Jordy Nelson has been a godsend, so absolutely not. I would contemplate selling high on Asiata however, a lot of talk that McKinnon will be the starter sooner then later.

Edit: Also after looking at his roster, if you were to trade for anyone, I'd make it Julius Thomas.

I offered him this trade initially before Sundays' games. He told me he didn't want it. Then today he texts me and says he's ready when I am. Only prob is I don't wanna give up Jordy now

PPR hell no.

I know it's only 4 weeks in and you're trying to buy McCoy low, but you'd be giving up the #2 statistical WR and a top #10 statistical RB for a guy with a devastated OL and zero production so far. And you'd be leaving your WR corps very weak while rolling with McCoy/Lacy that haven't proven anything this year. IMO you're buying last year stats with a mid-August mindset.

I don't disagree with that. He wasn't Minnesota's starting RB to begin the season either. But to say he has no value currently is fricking stupid.

Shouldn't you be polishing Doug Martin's knob right now?

Yes. Asiata will only be valuable in the short term. Points only matter going forward.

Would you rather have a stud wr or stud rb? Two weeks ago, people would have jumped on McCoy. Anyone selling low will very likely regret it.

How's that working out for you in the league we share?

Martin ypc last 2 years: 3.6, 2.1.
Martin total TDs last 2 years: 2.

Asiata ypc last 2 years: 3.8, 3.4.
Asiata total TDs last 2 years: 7.

Asiata is a stop-gap, I'm not promoting him beyond that at all. Enjoy being condescending though while telling the OP to trade Jordy/Asiata - arguably his 2 most productive players for Shady.

I also have someone willing to deal me Cameron for Torrey and Asiata. This guy is the McKinnon owner. Should I be jumping on that instead?

What is you record in this league? How many teams total, how many playoff teams, what is the scoring?

I'm 1-2. Down a little under 10 right now and waiting to see if Vereen can give me my 2nd win. 12 team league, top 6 teams make playoffs, goes by record and then by total points. Scoring is average you could say, 4 pt Tds and 1 pt per 25 yds, 6 pt receiving and rushing with 1 pt per 10 yds. and we get 2 pt bonuses for 40+ yd receiving plays and receptions with another 2 pt bonus on top of that for 40+ yd TDs. You could have an 40 yd TD rush or reception worth 14 pts

If you did it, I would ask for Cooks or Hawkins as well.

Being 1-2 (hopefully 2-2 for you, I have Vereen going and need 13 in a PPR as well), you can look longterm with 6/12 making playoffs.

But I would be very hesitant trading away my #1 WR with the bench you have. Benjamin is solid, and if you make playoffs Gordon could be as well, but that's 9 weeks away.

Just think about your lineup as a total sum.
