Ben Carson rhetoric dangerous to...Republicans
The author goes on to say that if Carson is given a platform as a Republican candidate to share his rather fanatical musings on life, it will basically reinforce the imagery most Americans already have of the GOP: that they are reckless in the views, irresponsible in their judgements, and just no good for all Americans.
Thoughts? I know most of you (if not all of you on the right), were serenading this guy with love songs when he first appeared at a prayer breakfast and attacked the President. Would you vote for him?
quote:
WALLACE: You are thinking about running for president in 2016. And I want to talk to you about that in a moment, but it has brought attention back to some of your comments as it does to any candidate potentially running for president. You said recently that you thought that there might not actually be elections in 2016 because of widespread anarchy. Do you really believe that? CARSON: Well, I hope that that’s not going to be the case, but certainly there is the potential. Because you have to recognize that we have a rapidly increasing national debt. A very unstable financial foundation. And you have all these things going on like the ISIS crisis that could very rapidly change things that are going on in our nation. And unless we begin to deal with these things in a comprehensive way, and in a logical way, there is no telling what could happen in just a matter of a couple of years.

Why do you hate successful black people so much?

I absolutely love his common sense approach to issues. However, he's got to have a little more personality and charisma to be taken more seriously.

I don't understand how someone as smart as Dr. Carson holds such outrageous views.

Intelligence and sanity don't always go hand-in-hand.

Must be a liberal left wing "Gotcha" piece from ....
... Fox News.
Seriously, I watched the tape of the show. He was as stiff as a board and looks like there is something wrong with him. No way he is a real candidate.

What planet are you on? He has less chance than i do of winning? c'mon wake up. No fringe candidate off the wall quack is going to win. It will be a mainstream re[publican and Hillary.

Sounds like Dr. Ben has been playing a little too much "The Last Of Us"

Only people in this thread that have brought up race are you guys.

The main thing I like about Ben Carson is his life story and his message.
The sad thing is, the people who most need to listen to Carson's message are black people. They march for scumbags like Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown, but they think Carson is a sellout.
