We don't do a single thing very well. Often, even when you're losing, there's at least one aspect you can hang your hat on.

We don't do anything very well, except perhaps kickoffs.

I just don't get how we regressed so much. If you look at last season, just about every area that we needed help we got in the offseason. On paper, this team got better.

Is it scheme? Are we not doing the same things we did well last year? I'm at a loss.

Last night was the first time since the Katrina season that I didn't watch a whole Saints game.

Next year we need to have Training Camp back in Metairie.

Sad thing is much of the media characterized the Saints as "All In" this year. We spent a bunch of money and have a few guys who may not be here in the future due to cost all in place this year - placing big bets on 2014.

Watched every second of both.

Hell, the Jason David debacle I watched at Fox and Hound with some co workers, left at the half and watched the rest when I got home.

I remember reading in both Drew and CSP's books how brutal the 09 camp was. It translated well during the season.

With the bullshite CBA now, I'm not sure if thats even possible. They ought to rent out the Airline Drive Motel for the team and make them walk to the practice facility each day.

The Worst Thing I can Say About the Saints

They don't seem to have a fire. I can't put my finger on it but something just seems off or gone. Sometimes the players seem to just be going through the motions.

Any one else see/feel the same?

Yep. And that really bothers me. I see so little fire/hunger in this team. Khiry is the only player who seems to get fired up.

Last year, I saw so much emotion on the D-line. Now...not so much.

Nope, not the only one. They certainly didn't seem to give much of a crap last night.

5 takeaways in last 15 games according to Michael Smith (Saints fan iirc)

That's bad. Fix that and you fix your team. Of course I hope it doesn't happen

100% agreed. There's no fire on the field. There's no fire on the sidelines. There's no fire after games. I believe this starts and ends with the coach. He's doing a terrible job this season.

The running game and Thomas Moorstead. When our backs are given the chance they rip shite up.

Yards per carry:
Kihry - 5.4 ypc
Marky - 6.0 ypc
PT23 - 4.3 ypc

This is a bad football team.

My greatest fear has been that once the Offense regressed just a bit back from its once legendary prowess that the whole team would collapse.

IMHO, that has happened, and, worst of all, the Window is closed for this Era.

They are no longer "elite". On the verge of "irrelevant".

Sad to hear, I know the 2014 season belongs there.

You do realize that the new CBA affects each team equally right?
