49ers Players Upset About Jim Harbaugh Treating Them Like Children (update)

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport told NFL GameDay Morning on Sunday that 49ers players continue to have issues with coach Jim Harbaugh.
"The same thing I was hearing last year is the same thing I was hearing as the season was starting -- the same thing I'm hearing now," Rapoport told NFL Media's Rich Eisen. "And some of it is from losing, but I'm told especially the veterans are grumbling already about Jim Harbaugh, and the voices are getting louder and louder."
Said Rapoport: "Some of the complaints include the fact that he kind of treats them like children. In fact, on planes, I'm told, they're not allowed to play music, they're not allowed to play cards. Small things, but these are the things that really can rankle players, even though the veterans do get to sit in first class."

Nothing new, the difference is that they were winning before.
They go back to their winning ways and you won't hear a peep. Today's win was the first step.

They act like children except for Vernon Davis.
DUI, domestic violence, drug possession, etc.

most of those guys emotionally ARE children. The fact they are belly aching and complaining to the national media about not being able to play cards and listen to music while being paid millions to play a game is proof.

Everyone thinks that the 49ers are growing tired of Harbaugh, but I also think Harbaugh is growing tired of the 49ers.
They have some knuckleheads on that team.

Kaep looks like a dick with his gigantic headphones on anyway.

Miles to Michigan, Harbaugh to LSU, Sumlin to 49ers ....everyone wins.

This is a little bit of a tangent, but I actually think allowing players to do things together on the plane like playing cards would actually help team camaraderie. I really don't understand why he wouldn't allow that. I could maybe see if it was a day-of-game flight where you want guys to be 100 percent focused, but they don't fly in on Sunday (I assume Saturday, but it might even be Friday night, which would make it even more strange that he wouldn't allow it). And that's not even taking into account your players are upset/feel treated like children. Just my opinion.

Harbaugh to LSU
They would win it all 5 years in a row and then he would burn out and do something else.
Harbaugh recruiting in the deep South - considering the recruiting he did at freakin' Stanford would be scary.

They make so many dumb mistakes I understand why he treats them that way.

More garbage from Perez Rapoport. He apparently has a better feel for the team than any of the beats, because none of this shite is coming out of the people who actually follow the team. The comments in that link pretty much say enough.
Week 1 it was "Harbaugh isn't all-in"...yeah, the guy having an aneurysm on the sideline isn't all-in at all. And the quoted proof of that was the Niners practicing in Baltimore after the Ravens preseason game.
Now it's no headphones allowed when there are plenty of photos of the team with Beats getting on, during, and after plane rides. As if a coach of an NFL team would actually do that to make such a point. He obviously wouldn't have lasted this long with such a lunatic mindset in treating his players, but that's apparently lost on some "reporters."
I miss the days when the media would report the news instead of creating it.

On your way to work, do you do anything on your drive or walk there? Listening to the radio or music?
Imagine your employer/boss telling you that you can't listen to the radio any longer.
That's how ridiculous that is.

That's one of the more ridiculous things I've read in a while. One of the marketable vets should tell him to frick himself. Not too surprised to see most in this thread defending this nonsense, though.

It's too ridiculous to be true. I can't believe people are buying it.

Harbaugh is a power hungry coach and always has been. Some like him, most don't. Especially in the NFL. It's not like a high school team on a bus to a game. These are grown men. If they wanna listen to music or play cards on a freaking air plane flight to and from games, who cares?
It's all Harbaughs way or not at all, and it goes all the way down to the stupid little things.
