WD Season 4 just showed up on Netflix so I am binge watching. Why do the adults think it is OK to have the kids off playing somewhere out of sight in an apocalyptic zombie zone?

Little girl over somewhere making mudpies and a zombie attacks her. Of course Mom (who just saw a zombie) is several hundred yards away, out sight, lost in her own world.

Rant off

Because the show portrays some of the worst individuals in zombie apocalypse history.

If the main characters were actually in a zombie apocalypse, they would've died many times over, especially Rick.

I agree with Scruffy, none of the characters should have lived through the first season. They act like complete idiots 24/7.

Shane and Darryl are/were the only ones who would survive. Shane just went crazy and couldn't keep it in hid pants.

Is this before or after Lori bit it? Because she was a prime contributor to that trend.

Zombies eat brains. Show them you have no brains, don't get eaten. Duh

Where's Carl?

Actually, the scene you are talking about is plausible. If I remember this correctly, those people had been leading a sheltered life so far in the ZA. They had been holed up in a house and never had to deal with life on the road and so they were sloppy and prone to make mistakes that would get them killed as they had not adjusted to the new world around them.

In the scene we are talking about?

He is back at the prison with Rick. The little girl discussed in the OP was from the governors group, post Woodbury.

ETA: Nevermind. I see you were saying "Where's Carl?" as a joke.

I agree that it could be possible. Those people were used to Woodbury.

Rick should have been a goner. But he's the star, so that's that. I watch it mainly now just for the hell of it, something to do to kill time with friends and or with the SO.

Carl shouldn't have survived the gunshot. Daryl should have died when Andrea shot him in the head. Rick is lucky, his judgement calls are horrible. He married Lori. Should have been a red flag to begin with.

Ill start by saying that I love the Walking Dead.............

Now, zombies have got the be the "un-stealthiest" beings on the planet, how in the frick are they always sneaking up on these people?

I agree.............this cast would have been dead long ago if this shite was real life.
