A friend of mine took a glass blowing class and made this piece. I told her I'd make a base for it since I've done it for other things, mostly plates and masks though. I couldn't figure it out since the damn glass was heavy. Anyway, here it is.

Rule number 1 of glass blowing class... The absolute first thing you have ever made, does not mean it has to be considered art or a memento. There's a reason people pay a craftsman and buy blown glass.

A very deep piece; quite controversial. Not a lot of artists have the guts to take on ISIS.

She just wants to display her crappy work, not pass it off as art. I tried to add to the form since the blob was pretty off putting. Maybe I went too angular?
