Before the play even started, I saw what was about to happen. All of our safeties were up with the linebackers and all their quaterback had to do was slip past Welter and it was a footrace to the endzone with nobody behind the linebackers. Why did we line up this way? If we had Martin in the back then he could have saved the touchdown.

That's why I knew we were about to potentially give up a TD, I was having flashbacks to Dak burning us when we lined up the same way. Theoretically Chavis's scheme would stop the QB if we assume that there are no missed tackles. But there were missed tackles and I just hope we stay in a normal nickel defense for Auburn and let our speed keep their gains minimal and run clock out.

I noticed Jalen Collins might be the fastest guy on this defense

State gashed us with 52 in the game, as well. The problem is more the DTs.

The other team doesnt even need to block or account for Welter on D. He runs himself out of the play every time biting on any and every little fake. And he does it every single time.

When you watch a game on TV, you see the QB faking it to a RB running 1 way the flow is going the opposite way because they are setting up for the QB keep. And most of our D is fighting across the flow and playing it right, and then you see 1 person in an LSU uniform dart completely the other way. And they run right where he was standing. And its Welter Its almost kinda funny.

If hes the MLB vs Auburn, Marshall is gonna have 200+ rushing on us. Easily.

He probably gets run by too because he's slow as molasses.

Most schemes don't revolve around players taking themselves out of a play and not doing what they are suppose to.

Someone screwed up. I think it was most likely welter, but i don't know what his responsibility is.

Sorry, I have no experience coaching a defense so I don't think I'm suited for the job.

How do you know the RB wasn't Welter responsibility and someone else should have had the QB?

He has gap responsibility, and ran away from his gap. Dude is attracted to offensive linemen.
