I volunteered to cook the pig for a cochon de lait.... help!

I have never cooked a whole pig. I don't know where to buy the pig. I don't know where to get the coon arse pig oven. I don't know nothing...

Probably a bad idea to voluteer then, id really get someone who has done one before to help you and teach you the first one

Sir, if you are going to pull out your grammar police badge indicating you serve in the double negative unit, you should confer with the your fellow grammarians and make sure you don't misuse the word "neither" while making your point. Thus, making yourself look like an asshat who knows not to use double negatives, but that is not smart enough to know not to use negative conjunctions without their junction or not to split your infinitives.

Geauxpimp- You might want to secure a cooking rig and then do a smaller deboned pig for practice. There's a lot of places around here that sell them. Please support the local guys i.e. iverson(sp?) farms. I'm not certain what sizes they sell or exactly what # you're looking to cook.
