Ask the team off the record, no one can accurately answer that

I saw lineman encouraging Jennings his when he entered the field, amongst boos, on his last drive that he was in. I don't think the overall effort improved, we just stopped turning the ball over. 4 turnovers on our first six drives. Yikes.

Just the threat of Harris throwing the ball made defense have to take a step back. That helped the running game as soon as he stepped in.

If you don't think the o-line was playing with more fire when Harris was in then you need your eyes checked.

Kind of reminded me of Booty and Rohan. The team always responded when Rohan was in there.

Yep. We discussed this last night. Also it's similar in that Rohan was pretty shitty in practice but when he came in to play real minutes he was a gamer.

It was noticeable to everyone ... even the announcers. Team was clearly more amped to play when Harris came in. Conscious or Subconscious, it's the truth.

that, plus the threat of the pass, spreading out the formations, speading up the tempo. Lot of little things come together in a big way. kept them on their heals

It was obvious in the stadium. We discussed it at the game.

when you can make the defense tentative, every aspect of the offense will look better

This. When your QB has the arm strength to make every throw, then the defense has to cover the entire field. There were breakdowns in pass protection when Harris was in the game, but they didn't result in sacks or incompletions because 1) Harris takes a deeper drop, giving the O-line better leverage, 2) Harris can scramble, keep his eyes downfield and throw on the run and 3) Harris doesn't hold the ball too long because he has confidence that he can make any throw.

I actually didn't see any of Jennings' time on the field, but on the radio, toward the end of the last drive he played, the announcer mentioned that the NM St D was looking really run down/tired/ragged. It was, then, not so surprising when I got home to flip the game on and watch our backs run all up and down the field. I don't want to discount any "fire" that Harris brought, and I can't comment on what the line actualy looked like before his first drive, but I will mention that was said.

Now, after turning around and handing the ball off 10 times on one drive and completing one, short pass, he definitely took the game over and was impressive. Should he get the chance to start, I hope that he continues to impress. In the first two games, he looked quite lost at the wheel. He definitely did not show that in the last two weeks. Let's hope it's a sign of things to come.
