Free. They're running a promo till end of next month. I just doubled from 20 to 40 gigs. no charge. It's just out so call now. The operators don't even know about it. Once word gets out hold times will be ridiculous.

It's for people with 15 Gigs of data and up. I hope they do something for the ones who have much less.

I just read about it. They are trying desperately to get people off unlimited plans and old phone upgrade model. The new way doesn't save me any money because we usually upgrade every two years. Phones just don't last these days.

This really got me thinking. I have the old 450 plan w/unlimited txt and unlimited data. With my discount in, my bill is about $82/mth.

My wife has the new plan with unlimited talk/txt w/3gbs of data. (shes always on wifi). Her bill is the same as mine.

I use about 8gbs of data/month.

So I can change to this new shared plan and get 2 lines w/40gb of data for 150/month.

Is this worth giving up my unlimited data plan to save 10 bucks/month???

it's family data sharing. If you're on a solo data plan it's not for you. If you're already on it it's a no brainier. Your plan doubles for free. Just for asking.

I thought you had to get off of it to get on a family plan. If not Mrs Gman is gonna catch endless shite. Anyway I got 8 people on one plan. This is a great deal for me

Yeah. They submitted a "case" report that should be resolved in a week. If not then I'll continue to call and bitch daily

With the addition of new technology and faster speeds, I would never get off the unlimited plan until they kick me off.

10 gigs seems like a lot, and so did my 486 25mhz with 100 megabyte hard drive at the time. The salesman "you will NEVER need.." hahah

ALWAYS KEEP UNLIMITED

FYI, when buying new phones/signing new contracts, I always recommend people go to Radio Shack or some other type of non-carrier outlet. They are not incentivized to switch you over to a new plan, and it's the quickest, most painless way to upgrade your phone. The worst they'll do is try to sell you the typical protection plans/warranties, and maybe some accessories, but they won't frick with your plan or try to trick you into agreeing to it.

Radio Shack is also the most likely place to have residual stock of high-demand phones on release day (i.e., iPhones).

The day AT&T forces me off unlimited and/or makes me rent or buy my phones for full price is the day I switch to Straight Talk.

I just jumped from 15 to 30. It's easy to do online if you're on a mobile share already - I had mine done in about 3 clicks. Thanks for the heads up.

I read it to say - $150 plus $40 per line with the 2 year agreement or $15 per with next plan... so you would pay either $230 or $180 at least for that plan.

I pay $156 now for my wife and I on ATT, both unlimited.

In the past year, I have been issued an iphone at work, so will be dropping the contract. I wish I could will my unlimited to someone. Although, recently, I have been getting throttled.

I got off unlimited bc they basically throttle your data so bad that you won't go over 10 gb
