given the religion of peace could certainly not carry out such heinous acts of violence, I propose we send george clooney, fresh off his recent wedding, to the UN in order to propose a global knife ban

Banning all knives is just foolish, efforts should be focused on limiting access to assault knives.

If it has a black handle, then surely it is inappropriate for use by regular citizens.

These butchers have large sharp knifes, we should ban their use first. They are make for slicing meat.

On a serious note, the UK has had a gun ban for a number of years. They have had a massive increase in knife related violent crimes. My point is that if the motivation exists, some type of weapon will ultimately be used to accomplish the act.
Ban knives and they will use bats, chains, padlocks, something that gives them the advantage.

I am for open carry of all weapons, even fully loaded machine guns the kind with the bullet belts that wrap around the shoulders. Some a-hole gets in my way, i turn him into minced meat!
