On my outside patio I have a bare brick wall and I am looking to add a TV here. I have an extra 32" Samsung HD TV that I could take out of a back bedroom and place outside, however, do I need to do anything special for the tv to keep it safe?

Also what kind of stand would you recommend for a flat screen 32" to 42" TV?

Amazon. Cheeta mount. $30-$40.

Don't ever buy a mount from a box store. Waste of money.

Do you have a power plug on the brick wall? Is it covered? How are you getting a video signal to the tv?

They attach a router to your primary genie box (living room) and the genie minis are wireless feeding from main box. All I needed on patio was an outlet... No fighting with running coax or hdmi.

I called dtv and they were at my house the next day

I think the range is around 80',.. I haven't had a single signal issue
